Whilst light still comes in, the heat has been reduced dramatically so no longer feels like a sauna. We are west open facing meaning sun moves around the side of the windows then above normally trapping so much heat. In 24hrs the difference is amazing! Thanks Paul!

We are on street level so everyone can look in when they walk past, the net curtains hid the view and light and harboured dust, it has completely changed our living room and kitchen, to be able to look out and have the light in, from the outside it looks totally natural and people cannot see inside. Would highly recommend, clean fast, superb service.

Paul installed window film on our bi-fold doors in our garden room, and kitchen and lounge windows. Having had skin cancer recently, I was concerned about UV and wanted to continue to enjoy our garden room without having anxiety. Skin cancers are becoming increasingly common and PR Solar Window Film is the ideal solution. It also prevents our furnishings fading! From the inside - you can't see it! Quick service and no mess. Great, I would recommend PR Solar to anyone wanting privacy film, our new windows now look very stylish.

Energy Saving Window Film FAQs
This is the question that many of our prospective customers ask when interested in energy saving window films. The answer is a rather straightforward “yes”. The follow-up question of “how much will I save” is a little trickier to respond to, since this will depend on a number of factors, including the type and size of windows you have, the orientation of your property, the amount of sunlight it receives, how well insulated your property is, and the efficiency of your heating and cooling systems. What we can say is that we’ve seen some property owners experience a reduction in energy costs of up to 50%.
Many people think that there must be a catch. “I install this film and save a load of money on energy bills, but what’s the trade-off?” The truth is, there isn’t really one. The window film is extremely low maintenance after installation, requiring only light cleaning, doesn’t alter the appearance of your home or windows, and doesn’t cause excessive reflections that make it difficult to see out of your windows (a common worry). Added to all of that, if you really don’t get on with your window film, you can have it removed and your windows will not be affected at all.
There’s no doubt that window film is an investment that can pay off by cutting your energy bills down significantly. But it does still require you to part with some cash up front. So how long is it before you’re going to have to replace it? Well, it’s impossible to give you a precise answer, since there are a number of factors that will influence the rate of wear and tear they experience (local climate, conditions in the property etc), but we guarantee all of our window film for 10 years, and it often lasts much longer than that.
